CBL is committed to supporting our communities and the people who live in them. We understand that our malls are more than just shopping destinations; they serve as essential "gathering places" for the community through events and social interaction. Through a long-standing partnership with United Way, our employee-directed giving program, corporate charitable giving, matching gifts, and through donations of time, our team contributed approximately $177,000 to a wide range of organizations doing critical work in the communities we serve.
*based on 2025 report from Independent Sector, valuing a volunteer hour at $36.14.
Through events like United Way's Day of Caring and CBL's annual United Way Workplace Campaign, our CBL Cares volunteer hours program, and other company-sponsored volunteer opportunities CBL's team clocked more than 1,109 volunteer hours in 2025. CBL's collective community impact through charitable giving and volunteerism in 2025 is valued at nearly $177,000.
In addition to our corporate-driven initiatives, our properties play an integral role in the communities they serve by partnering with area non-profits to raise awareness and funds throughout the year.
We strive to make a difference in the communities we serve through our CBL Cares initiative, as well as the numerous programs our employees are passionately involved in.
